Lake Akna

 

Akna or Aknalich (in Ակնա լիճ) – «Eye” in Armenian.) – Mountain lake in Armenia, located in the crater of the volcano Lchayn, [1] Geghama plateau, 6 km from the mountain Ajdahak, at an altitude of 3030 meters above sea level Sea. Surface area of 0.5 km ², volume – 2500 sq m ³, maximum depth – 15 m lake is only rain food in the winter it is covered with ice. Directly near the lake grow alpine meadows.
